Steven Mitchell joins the Owens Harkey Advertising team as Director of Automotive, overseeing all marketing initiatives and campaigns within the department. Prior to his arrival at Owens Harkey, Steve served as the Regional Director of Local Automotive in the Western U.S. for Univision Communications Inc. He brings over 16 years automotive expertise in both Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive levels and has a unique perspective from the manufacturer as well as dealer level.
No stranger to the agency world, Steve previously managed Tier 3 level dealerships at Arrowhead Advertising and Zimmerman Advertising. In his role as a senior level executive, Steve managed several auto groups including AutoNation, Chapman, Penske, Van Tuyl and Jim Click Automotive.
When Steve is not in a dealership, he enjoys spending time with his wife Julie, and two kids (Ian, 12 and Victoria, 5), playing golf and reading.
